Bird Language, or the Art of Seeing Ghosts

I just wrote a real-life experience I had when I first started learning wilderness living skills. It illustrates how the knowledge of bird language can stretch our senses further than what we think is possible, like tracking the movement of otherwise unseen animals through the forest.

I hope it inspires you to listen more closely to the world around you and that, in turn, it allows you to gain a better understanding and appreciation for it.
